1/29/2024 0 Comments Uninstall rstudio![]() What ldconfig says about your libR? ldconfig -p | grep libR.soĪre there any broken dependencies? ldd /usr/lib/R/lib/libR.so Please check if you have not accidentally broken r package. (edited on 12:47 (UTC) by just tested build on two different machines - all runs OK. so I tried setting export R_HOME="/usr/lib64/R" under both user and root account (again by adding to ~/.bashrc so that it is sourced if a new shell is started as either user during install), still no joy and errors out with - Could not find libR shared library. Fired up R and checked the value returned by R.home(). $R_HOME isn't defined though either as user or root, I tried setting this to export R_HOME="/usr/bin/R" in both the user and root account (by adding to ~/.bashrc so its defined if a new shell is started as either user during install) no joy. Libresolv.so.2 => /usr/lib/libresolv.so.2 (0x00007fdcd6e05000)Īnd these are identical as root so it doesn't look like anything is broken in the dynamically linked libraries. ![]() Thanks for the quick response thing I tried was reinstalling R and the problem persisted.Īs user (account when installing). ( git-vfs, git-run-command-patch-git, git-git) (make) ( agensgraph-git, postgresql-libs-1c, postgresql-libs-9.5, postgresql-libs-9.4, postgresql-src-beta-libs, postgresql-libs-9.6, postgresql-libs-11, postgresql-libs-10, postgresql-libs-12, postgresql13-libs, postgresql-src-libs, postgresql-lts-libs) ( pandoc-static-git, pandoc-sile-git, pandoc-bin, pandoc-cli) ( clang8, clang-git, llvm-git, clang-minimal-git) I've tried -y -confirm and -force but none of those seem to affect the Yes/No prompt above.( boost171, boost-libs-git, boost174-libs) Waiting 30 seconds defaults to "No" and R Studio just gets removed from Chocolatey and not actually uninstalled. The problem is that I can't find any way to automatically select Yes and suppress that prompt. It's not silent, FYI, but that's okay because I determined that as long as I use -ua /S it uninstalls just fine when I select Yes above. ![]() Uninstall may not be silent (could not detect). I finally have it basically figured out, but when I attempt to uninstall R Studio I get a prompt saying: For the question below, you have 30 seconds to make a selection. I'm working on an uninstall command for the R.Studio package and it's gotta be 100% no user interaction since I'm using it with Intune and need the Uninstall command to just work.
