Even if we zoom in by some set magnification, the shape of the fractal will remain the same. As an example of a very specific type of scale invariance, think of a fractal. The new study by André Maeder, an honorary astronomy professor at the University of Geneva, centers around something called " scale invariance." Scale invariance means that the properties of a given law of physics (or set of physical objects) do not change, even if we were to multiply their lengths or energies by some number.
